A very warm welcome to the Year 6 class page! We are so excited for the year ahead and can’t wait to get started on the amazing topics we have planned. We know our Year 6 pupils will throw themselves into their learning with enthusiasm and curiosity, and we’re looking forward to seeing all the wonderful achievements along the way.

Year 6 Learning
Class 6 have been bursting with enthusiasm this week as they created their own YouTube‑style transcripts, designed to persuade us all to take action on climate change.
Pupils researched issues close to their hearts and crafted powerful pieces of writing using emotive language, repetition, and cohesive devices to strengthen their message. They then performed their scripts to the class with confidence and passion.
We have been absolutely blown away by their hard work, creativity, and conviction. Amazing work, Year 6!

11.9.25 Year 6 did a wonderful job of writing and delivering a rousing speech inspired by our History topic on World War 2. They considered tone, pace, repetition and emotive language when writing.
