Welcome to the Class 4 page. Here you will find the parent letters, spelling lists and
information on times tables and KIRFs (Key Instant Recall Facts for Maths).
Please feel free to contact school if you have any questions or concerns to arrange
a chat with either Mrs McMeekin, or any of the adults working in class 4.
Here we are at the start of a new academic year. We have lots of things that we will be getting stuck into this term. As the weather gets colder and wetter, we will still be spending time outside with our learning, including tracking the changes in weather and the environment, and going swimming.

Spellings
Please help your child to practise their spellings ready for their tests on each Friday. Each child has been sent home with their appropriate list and has a spare copy at school to use. They are also available in the links below:
Times tables
Times tables are another life skill which will help children, not only throughout their school life, but also in the adult world! As you will already know, our statutory Multiplication Check is coming up this year. Please help your child learn any remaining times tables, so that they can approach the test with confidence. Please get in touch if we can help you with that.
Please also remember to use Times Table Rockstars or Timestables.co.uk - there are great resources for practising times tables and will help your child prepare for the statutory test later this year. Your child should have their log in details in their reading book, if you need these again, please ask a member of the team.
